Declutter the house. Put papers, magazines, and general objects away so that the house looks clean open and inviting. Generally, we do not shoot inside of garages, making them the perfect place to stuff unwanted items.

Hide all personal information. This includes Wifi passwords, banking information, bills, mail, and family photos if you are so inclined. photoSRQ offers digital item removal at an additional cost. To save yourself time and money, please remember this important step.

All lights should be turned on and all windows not directly facing a neighbors house should have their blinds raised or opened. Replace any lightbulbs that are out or missing. Turn off all ceiling fans as well.

Fluff all pillows and smooth out all bedspreads. If there is a dust ruffle bellow the bed, please fluff it. If there is a dog bed or cat house, please move it into a closet or some place less obvious.

Declutter all counter space and put toilet lids down. Replace missing toilet paper and wipe down surfaces, mirrors, and shower glass.

Clear all counter space of clutter and unnecessary appliances. We want the kitchen to look open and inviting. Remove distracting magnets from the refrigerator and take all dishes out of the sink. Wipe down all surfaces.
